It is with great pleasure that we announce "Shop in Peace" - Open Studios Show and Sale at the Firing Circuits building in Norwalk, taking place the last two weekends of November.
This is the first time the public is invited to tour the studios of over 18 artists working in the Firing Circuits building, located just off Broad Street and Route 7 in Norwalk.
This once underground private artists colony is comprised of over 28 professional artists working in a wide variety of media. The original works shown are all available for sale in a wide variety of price ranges for Art-ful Holiday giving and collecting. The event kicks off each weekend with a reception, Friday evening, November 22 and November 29 from 5pm - 8pm.
Friday, Novemeber 22, from 6pm - 8pm, There will be live music by Cypress Ensemble - a classical string trio. Friday, November 29, from 6pm - 8pm Annalisa Ewald will perform classical guitar. Show hours include weekends, noon - 5pm November 23, 24 and November 30 and December 1.
Participating artists include - Sue Brown Gordon, Binnie Birstein, Derek Uhlman, David E. Gordon, Nancy Woodward, Mari Gyorgyey, Karen Vogel, Linda Colletta, Lisa McHugh, Carla Wales, Carla Alpert, Sarah French, Lori Lohstoeter, Jeanine Esposito, Elisa Keogh, Cecilia Fradet, Denise Minnerly, Susan Leggett, and Regina Levin.
Refreshments and art activities for all ages will be provided. The show and parking are free.
In the spirit of spreading Holiday cheer, donations and non-perishable items will be collected to support the local food bank and disaster relief for the Philippines.

The 10th Annual Center Crafts show - a juried fine craft show.
December 7 and 8, Saturday 11 - 5 and Sunday 11 - 4,
at the Saratoga Arts Council Center,
320 Broadway, in
Saratoga Springs, NY in the Dee Sarno Theater.
There will be a selection of over 14 juried artists exhibiting handmade and very Gift-able Works of Art. The exhibitors presented are some of New England's top artists working in a variety of media. Handmade jewelry, woven garments, turner wooden vessels, sculpture, functional stoneware, raku pottery, quilts, photography, glass and many more unique artistic creations will be available for sale. Also, enjoy the Annual Members show in the Gallery.
Admission is FREE and refreshments are served. In the spirit of giving, donations and canned foods will be collected for the local food pantry.

The 5th Annual Saratoga Arts Celebration -
An exceptional Arts Event, taking place at the National Museum of Dance, August 16 and 17, 2014. The two day Art Festival will showcase the juried works of 100 fine artists and invited performers. The location is on the Great Lawn and inside the National Museum of Dance in the beautiful Saratoga Spa State Park, off Route 50 or Route 9 at 99 South Broadway in Saratoga Springs, NY.
There will be demonstrations and performances as well as hands on children's activities. A food court will provide local flavor to the event.

Norwalk Art Festival
Norwalk Art Festival taking place June 28 & 29, 2014, Sat & Sun 10 - 5, is located in Mathews Park, 295 West Avenue, just off of I-95, Exit 14N and 15S in Norwalk, Connecticut in Fairfield County, a suburb of NYC, next to Westchester County.
Hosted with the support of The Center for Contemporary Printmaking, Stepping Stones Museum, Mathews Mansion Museum, NicaPhoto, and The Norwalk Recreation and Parks Department, this art festival will be a premier cultural event in the area. The artists will be the focus of this two-day festival located in a beautiful park setting nestled between 2 Museums and a nationally recognized Art Center as well as the Connecticut Visitors Bureau.
This juried fine art and fine craft festival will have 100 artists as well as live music, food offerings, art demonstrations and special exhibits at each of the indoor facilities. In the tradition of The Bruce Museum Art Festivals, This event promises a high quality arts experience for both the visitors as well as the artists.
